The Westin step bars are OK. A little flimsy but fit well and were easy to install. They are easily strong enough to support my 200 lbs. The problem was that there were no mounting brackets sent out with the bars. Not sure if they went missing in shipping or if not supplied by Westin in the deal. I was under the impression that they were to be included but not to be. Amazon was good to refund me the cost of the mounting brackets which had to be ordered elsewhere. If you order these bars then be sure the mounting brackets will be included.

The Weston Step bars are well built and look like the OEM. I have an extended cab but bought the crew cab to extend them back to the bed to allow reaching the rear bed cargo bed loops. However I had to build special brackets at the rear for better support. I have had them for 6 months and they still look like new.

The step bars are hollow with an open space where the brackets attach. This will pack full of mud, rocks, etc after a while. The hardware is stainless which means when they say torque to 7ft/lbs, do it or else you will break some of the bolts. Thankfully they send a couple of extra brackets knowing you will break at least one.
