Very nice addition to my Astra

I love this arm rest for the main purpose of resting my arm! It also adds a fair amount of storage into a car with very little of storage to speak of. I can fit my phone charger and a few other small flat items including ear bud head phones and a credit card in the top compartment of this arm rest and in the cup in the console I keep 3 pairs of sunglasses and a medium size prescription jar. Installation was straight forward but was definitely NOT fun, just make sure you set the base correctly or you won't be able to finish putting it together. The top is sturdy enough where I can put some of my weight on it to adjust myself in the seat I weigh about 160 lbs. My only problem with this is that with a 5-speed manual the cup holder is completely useless unless you're cursing on my highway. While you can shift with a drink in the holder is is very awkward and annoying. I assume that with an automatic it would be much more functional. It matches my car perfectly and you would N EVER know that I tore the car apart and installed it myself. Definitely a must have if you own this car.
